A greeting from our 2019 Keynote Speaker, Fleur Tuckert
Hi Ladies,
I’m a wife of one, mother of 3, and carer of many. I’ve strived to serve Jesus in lots of different contexts across the years; from working in para ministry not for profits, education, Pastoring and in my family. I have written a book about communication and love to speak to groups about how to practice listening. My formative years were spent in the Churches of Christ in South Australia. As I get older, I’ve realised that I need to pass on what I’ve learned through my life experiences to others. I’m sincerely looking forward to spending time with you and presenting on the topic of Legacy: Passing the Baton at the upcoming Vic/Tas Churches of Christ Women’s Retreat.

Retreat Program
Friday 11th Oct: 4.00pm – 6pm Arrival and Registrations
*No Dinner will be provided on this evening.* Many cafes and restaurants are available in the township of Halls Gap, or you are welcome to bring a picnic tea to enjoy in the dining room. Tea and Coffee are available at the venue at all times.
8.00pm - Welcome and introductions, followed by supper
Saturday 12th Oct: 9am - noon Morning sessions/lunch
Afternoon Free – Work on your craft project, walk or drive into town for a coffee or ice-cream, hiking, or REST!
6pm Dinner and Evening Program
Sunday 13th Oct: 9am Morning Sessions/Communion
noon Lunch, farewells and departure early afternoon
About the Norval Centre
The Norval Centre is a retreat facility situated just 800 metres from Halls Gap. Look out for the blue sign approx 800m after you drive through town.
Each room will sleep up to 4 people, with free-standing beds and an ensuite in each room. All accessible rooms are available.
Facilities include an enclosed heated swimming pool, tennis court, table tennis table and laundry.
What to bring
* Linen (one blanket is provided for each bed. You may wish to bring extra blankets or a quilt)
* Pillow
* Towel (bathmat optional)
* Toiletries
* Walking shoes
* Bible, notebook and pen
* Item for Saturday evening (details below)
Saturday Evening Entertainment
"Your Life Journey"
Join us for dinner in the Norval dining room with something that represents your life journey. Bring along an item to represent a special place, event or significant memory...perhaps a photo, a costume, souvenir, keepsake, perfume or something unique that reminds you of that particular time in your life.

Retreat Cabaret!
We invite you to share your talents as a group act or solo performer with skits, songs, dance, drama, stand-up comedy or poetry. Whether this is your first visit or if you've been coming to Halls Gap Retreat for many years, this is a guaranteed highlight of the weekend (just one of many highlights!!).
Registration
Numbers are limited so book early to avoid disappointment! Registrations can be made online, with payments accepted via banking deposit (see details on registration page). Registrations close 20th September, or earlier if booked out.
